Accounting Associate (Technology Infrastructure)

About our client
We are partnering with a leading quantitative investment firm to hire an Accounting Associate based in Singapore, supporting the finance operations of a specialised business unit within the group.

What You'll Do

• Handle day-to-day accounting for an overseas business entity, including journal entries, month-end close, and financial statements
• Manage employee expense reimbursement workflows, reviewing for policy compliance and reasonableness
• Coordinate with local auditors to support the annual audit process, including preparation of working papers
• Assist with tax filings and respond to queries from tax authorities
• Support banking operations including account management, fund reconciliation, and account opening
• Partner with the business unit's finance BP to provide local financial data, budget tracking, and cost analysis
• Develop and refine accounting treatment for industry-specific items including asset depreciation and operational cost allocation

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Background in technology infrastructure, data centres, or capital-intensive industries is highly preferred
• Familiar with Singapore corporate tax and compliance requirements; experience with offshore entity accounting or audit is a plus
• CA qualification (completed or in progress) preferred
• Analytical mindset with an interest in understanding the business behind the numbers
