Accounting Lead /

~ 5 days work week, Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm

~ Location: Suntec (walking distance from MRT station)

~ 6 months contract and convertible to permanent

Our client is a solar energy solution provider in Singapore

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and budgets.

• Compliance and Audits: Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls, including overseeing financial audits.

• Team Management: Hiring, training, and supervising accounting staff.

• Process Improvement: Developing and implementing efficient accounting systems and procedures.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Creating and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

• Financial Strategy: Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies and policies.

• Tax Planning and Compliance: Managing tax planning, compliance, and related financial reporting.

• Data Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is typically required.

• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are often preferred or required for certain roles.

• Relevant experience in accounting, finance, or auditing is usually necessary

• Proficiency in accounting software and systems, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and tax laws.

• High level of accuracy and meticulousness in all aspects of financial operations.
