Accounting Manager

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in finance and accounting, with specific expertise in the Australian market. This person will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting financial reporting and analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines and quarterly BAS statement.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
• Liaison with external SMSF auditor, preparation of EOY SMSF Tax Return
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards to support decision-making processes.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by preparing financial models, analyzing variances, and providing insights to inform financial projections.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
• CPA qualification is mandatory and required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the Australian market.
• Solid understanding of Australian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and is comfortable presenting the monthly reports in both English & Chinese to the stakeholders in APAC
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
