Accounting Officer

Founded in 2018, Enyorra Private Equity Pte. Ltd. is a women-led Private Equity fund manager that focuses on climate change mitigation & adaption and sustainability investing in Southeast Asia in Southeast Asia.

We are expanding and would like to add an AccountingOfficer to join our Finance and Operations team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant professional experience and is keen to build a rewarding long-term career in the private equity industry and be part of a team of professionals who are focusing on creating impactful and sustainable investments in Southeast Asia. The role will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting tasks including arranging payments to vendors, overseas and local expenses staff claims, billing of invoices, preparing vouchers, journal entries in timely manner
• Liaise with various parties for reports/surveys, e.g. bankers, external auditors, tax advisors/agents, company secretary, fund administrators and other statutory bodies/government authorities as necessary
• Prepare month-end closing including preparing accounts schedules, bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations and management reporting
• Prepare quarterly GST submissions
• Support year end closing and audit
• Maintain good documentation and filing system
• Assist in handling general office finance & admin/operations duties
• Assist in various ad-hoc special projects and initiatives

Requirements:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Well organized, logical and meticulous with strong attention to details, discreet
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment similar to that of a start-up
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Self-starter, able to work independently
• Team player with initiative, willingness to learn
• Minimum qualification is a diploma from a polytechnic with major in accounting, bachelor degree or other equivalent accounting qualification will also be considered.
• At least 1 year experience in handling full sets of accounts
• Candidates with relevant prior work experience from asset management firms, family offices or private equity firms will be viewed favourably
• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred
