Accounting Supervisor

MEDEZE Treasury Pte. Ltd., is a Singapore registered investment company established in 2021. The company manages overseas investments, financial instruments, and strategic growth initiatives, audited by Ernst & Young LLP.

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for operating and overseeing accounting and financing activities for subsidiaries, franchises or business units within a specific geographic region.

The role needs to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with company and accounting policies, internal controls, approval authority and future anticipated International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and consistent accounting practices across the region.

1) Accounting and Finance

- Operating and overseeing daily accounting & financial record.

- Verifying invoices with sale reporting and supporting documents and preparation of receipt voucher.

- Ensure accuracy of the purchase and supporting documents and preparation of purchase and payment voucher.

- Reviewing the AR - aging report and follow up the collection from customers.

- Verifying and signing on the journal voucher for accruals, prepaid and adjustments.

- Verifying the accuracy of detail of accounts.

- Coordinating with internal and external, such as all departments, banks, suppliers, customers, internal audit, external audit and associate or subsidiaries company.

- Closing the financial statement relied on the schedule of parent company.

2) Budgeting, cash flow and costing control

- Verifying the budget planning and forecasting.

- Verifying the actual cash flow and forecasting.

- Verifying the costing by each product or business units.

3) Reconciliation and intercompany transactions

- Verifying the reconciliation of revenue with sale recording by monthly, quarterly and yearly.

- Performing regular bank reconciliations and investigation and resolving the discrepancies in financial records.

- Verifying the related party transactions (RPT) between parent company, subsidiaries, franchises or business units.

4) Tax and compliance

- Verifying the accuracy of tax and statutory reports and submitting to the related government

agencies.

- Multi-regional compliance requires aligning business operations.

- Supporting internal and external auditors and providing required documentation.

5) Reporting Financial statement reporting monthly, quarterly and yearly.

- Budgeting & actual variance report.

- Actual cash flow and cash flow forecasting report.

- Comparison between cost planning BOM (Bill of material) with actual cost.

- Preparing the supporting document for reporting to Executive Committee and Board of Director meeting as assigned.

6) Software proficiency

- Recommending and implementing accounting software that caters to multi-regional operations, ensuring scalability.

- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 5–8 years of experience in accounts payable, inventory accounting, or related finance roles.

• Strong knowledge of ERP/AutoCount or similar accounting systems.

• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work cross functionally with operations and external auditors.
