Job Description - Accounts Assistant

Job summary
We are seeking an Accountant for Singapore finance Responsible for management reporting, tax and statutory obligations Collaborate with the country accountant and support the CEO
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities
• Issuance of client invoices, collections, and maintaining client relationship • Ensure timely payment and tracking of all aged payables, including payment of supplier invoices, 3rd party suppliers • Calculation and submission of monthly trial balance, P&L and Balance sheet • Monthly review of Singapore accounts with senior management • Submission of monthly accounts to parent company via online system • Maintenance of inter-company accounts for Singapore entity • Preparation of monthly staff payroll and review with higher management • Work with Regional Operations to track accuracy of online subscriptions and services • Upkeep of company corporate credit card expenses • Tracking and maintaining of fixed assets in asset management tool • Maintain the treasury function ensuring adequate cash at all times • Responsible for quarterly GST submission to IRAS portal, and quarterly SingStat surveys • Assist with the preparation of annual corporate income tax returns, and liaise with external tax service providers to ensure timely tax filing of all required deliverables. • Coordinate, collaborate and support other teams, including the HR/project team as required • Tracking of government grants and pay-outs • Support analytical, management reviews and work assignments from time to time
Requirements
• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy or relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CIMA or partially qualified or currently pursuing professional examinations are encouraged to apply. • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. • Proficiency in Google Suite and good time management is expected. • Experience in using Xero or similar online platform is preferred. • Excellent oral & writing communication skills. • To be capable of preparing files and maintaining records and documentation • Trustworthy, with a sense of accountability and responsibility
