We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and motivated Accounts Assistant (AR/AP) or Accounts Executive (Full Set) to join our Finance Department. This role supports the accounting and financial operations of multiple entities within our organisation.
The successful candidate will have a strong sense of accountability, be able to work independently, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. Appointment and remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, and competencies.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Handle Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and, where applicable, full sets of accounts.
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
Perform monthly and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of supporting schedules.
Prepare financial reports and schedules for management review.
Prepare sales invoices, monitor collections, and manage accounts receivable ageing.
Process supplier invoices, payment runs, and staff reimbursement claims accurately and on time.
Prepare and submit GST returns and supporting schedules.
Ensure all accounting transactions are properly supported by relevant documentation, including invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
Ensure compliance with applicable Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST regulations, and statutory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities during audits and statutory submissions.
Support finance and administrative functions as required.
Assist with ad hoc assignments and projects assigned by the Finance Head or Management.
Requirements
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required, as this role involves reading and processing accounting documents prepared in both languages and communicating with English- and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders as part of the job responsibilities.
Experience in independently managing a full set of accounts will be an advantage for candidates considered for the Accounts Executive position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software (e.g. AutoCount or equivalent).
Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Singapore accounting standards, GST regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
