Accounts Assistant (Accounts Payable)

Our client, an established international shipping company, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support its Accounts Payable and finance operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team where you will gain exposure to the finance functions in a dynamic maritime environment.

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices and prepare payments accurately and in a timely manner.

• Assist with payment processing, cash management and account settlement activities.

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.

• Support account reconciliations and ensure accounting records are properly maintained.

• Assist with month-end finance activities and the preparation of supporting documentation.

• Provide administrative, general affairs and secretarial support to the office.

• Maintain organised filing systems and ensure proper documentation of finance and administrative records.

• Support ad hoc finance, administrative and operational duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting support role.

• Fresh graduates with relevant internships in accounting or finance are welcome to apply.

• Experience using SAP is preferred. Exposure to IMOS will be an advantage.

• Meticulous, organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
