Accounts Associate

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities, this includes and but limited to:
• Perform three-way matching of AP and follow up internally the outstanding matters
• Process suppliers’ invoices and update accounting entries
• Prepare payments
• Reconcile suppliers’ statement of account (SOA)
• Prepare billings and SOA to customer
• Monitor receipts from customers and update accounting entries
• Assist in month-end closing
• Assist in any other ad-hoc AR/AP assignments
• Compiling & checking staff claims
• Reimbursement petty cash and update cashbooks
• Administrative works of Finance Department i.e. filling / archiving / mailing
• Opportunity to learn full set of accounts
• Any other tasks assigned

Requirements

• Min Certificate in Accountancy or equivalent
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Organized, meticulous, and comfortable with finance data entry
• Positive working attitude and keen to learn
