Accounts cum Admin Assistant / Executive

About our client: Our client is a local trade association for SMEs companies.

About the role:

• Assist in daily finance operations (includes payments, receipts, AP & AR transactions).
• Assist in partial/full set of accounts and prepare balance sheet schedules and ensure timely, complete, and accurate recording of accounting entries into the MYOB accounting system.
• Posting of month-end closing journal entries.
• General office administration such as filing, scanning, photocopying, archiving, and office supplies.
• Assist in preparing documents for submission of government grant claims.
• Manage and handle documents, records and maintain an organized filing system.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Manager in-charge.

About you:

• LCCI or Diploma in Accounting.
• Minimum 2 yrs of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Fast learner with a strong sense of initiative & good communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision is useful.

• Work location: Bukit Merah
• Working hours: Mon - Fri (9am - 6pm)
