Accounts Executive

Job Description:

• Handle and maintain full set of accounts.
• Responsible for month end closing process.
• Perform timely month end financial closing and management reporting.
• Process all purchase invoices and supplier payments on a timely basis.
• Handle quarterly GST submission.
• Prepare relevant audit schedules.
• Liase with external auditors.
• Perform adhoc tasks assigned
• Establish and enforce proper accounting treatment, Company/Group polices and principles
• Prepare and review to ensure the accounts and the financial statements are properly drawn up in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
• Prepare and review of consolidated financial statements
• Prepare and review full set of accounting duties
• Support in Continuous assessment of procedures and control and implementing process improvement as necessary
• Coaching junior staff to achieve team and company goal as well as individual performance standard
• Other ad hoc projects

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a professional accounting firm handling accounting and payroll matters
• Preferably possess a CPA with a recognized accounting body or ACCA or its equivalent
• Audit experience preferred
• People management experience is a mandatory
• Well-versed in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
• Willing to hands-on and capable of driving changes and initiatives
• Analytical, meticulous with excellent leadership qualities
• Possess professional qualities with good communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork
