Job Summary

Support daily bookkeeping and accounting operations for ASPL’s entities, ensuring accurate financial records and assisting in month-end closing to contribute to smooth financial management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing daily bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records for company entities
• Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes by recording invoices, receipts, and payments accurately
• Perform basic bank reconciliations to verify and balance financial transactions
• Maintain organized filing and documentation of financial records to ensure easy retrieval and compliance
• Assist in month-end closing activities and prepare simple financial reports to support accounting accuracy
• Collaborate with the team to complete ad-hoc accounting duties as needed to support business operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing)
• Proficient in XERO accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to perform accounting and reporting tasks effectively
• Strong fundamental understanding of basic accounting principles to ensure accurate bookkeeping
• At least 2-3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience demonstrating practical application of accounting skills
