Job Summary

Manage comprehensive accounting functions including accounts payable, fixed asset schedules, reconciliations, and month-end processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts to ensure accurate financial records and reporting
• Oversee day-to-day accounts payable operations and analyze expenses to optimize cash flow
• Maintain fixed asset schedules including additions, disposals, and depreciation for accurate asset tracking
• Process payments and manage GST compliance to meet regulatory requirements
• Perform monthly reconciliations against vendors’ statements to ensure accuracy of accounts
• Lead month-end closing activities, updating accruals and prepayment schedules promptly for timely financial statements
• Monitor and reconcile inter-company transactions to maintain balanced accounts
• Prepare audit schedules to support external and internal audit processes
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in projects to support business decisions
• Utilize Xero accounting software to maintain accounting records efficiently
• Provide administrative support to finance operations as needed
