Medov Logistics is a specialised logistics company serving the cruise, cargo, and industrial sectors. Headquartered in Genoa, Italy, with company-owned offices and facilities in Singapore, Miami, and Hamburg, we manage complex international logistics operations across global markets.
Our expertise spans International Shipping, Cruise Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Air Freight, Newbuilding Vessel Logistics, and Dry Dock Projects.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented financial professional to join our Singapore office. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to gain exposure to full-set accounting, financial reporting, business operations, and process improvement within a dynamic international logistics environment.
Manage full-set accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Assist with statutory audits, tax compliance, and GST submissions.
Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance finance operations and controls.
Support accounting system enhancements and implementation of new systems.
Assist in establishing finance processes for new business operations and projects.
Work closely with operational teams to support business growth and financial performance.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
3 to 8 years of relevant accounting and bookkeeping experience.
Experience handling full-set accounts is preferred.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Experience with QuickBooks will be an advantage.
Familiarity with Singapore GST requirements and local accounting practices is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Exposure to full-set accounting and real-world business operations.
