About the Company

Wealth Holdings Shipping Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based dry bulk shipping company operating Supramax / Ultramax vessels across major trade lanes. We are looking for a Accounts Executive to join our operations team and support the full post-fixture execution of dry bulk voyages.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Accounts Executive to support the company’s finance function for dry bulk shipping activities. The role will be involved in day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR transactions, freight invoicing, payment processing, bank reconciliations, intercompany balances, voyage accounting, hire statements and cost allocation reports. The candidate will also support full set accounts for small entities, month-end and year-end closing, banking compliance and KYC documentation. This role requires close coordination with the Finance team, internal departments, external vendors and Chinese-speaking counterparts.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, freight invoicing and bank reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Use accounting software and systems to maintain accurate and efficient financial records.
• Responsible for intercompany balances and related reconciliation matters.
• Handle full set of accounts for small entities.
• Work closely with the Finance team and internal departments on accounting and payment matters.
• Prepare voyage accounting, hire statements and cost allocation reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with banking compliance and KYC documentation.
• Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the shipping or trading industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Xero accounting software will be an added advantage.
• Meticulous, organised and able to work independently.
• Good communication, coordination and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing is required, as the role involves communication and coordination with Chinese-speaking counterparts, vendors and internal stakeholders.
