Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Executive to support our finance operations in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage full or partial sets of accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain accurate financial transactions
• Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries to ensure accurate accounting records
• Assist in executing month-end and year-end closing activities to support timely financial reporting
• Compile and prepare financial reports and schedules to provide clear insights into financial performance
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), China GAAP, and company accounting policies
• Support GST submissions and manage tax-related documentation to meet regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with auditors, tax agents, and external stakeholders to facilitate audits and tax processes
• Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for all accounting records to support audit readiness and internal controls
• Execute assigned ad-hoc finance tasks to support overall finance team objectives and operational efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze and manage financial data
• Knowledge and application of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and China GAAP accounting standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience with accounting software such as SAP or Yonyou to enhance accounting process efficiency
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines to support finance operations
