Accounts Executive

Job Summary

Document sales and customer interactions while managing accounts and financial records to support accurate reporting and timely payment collection.

Responsibilities

1. Document sales transactions, customer interactions, and concerns to generate update reports for senior management
2. Perform administrative tasks including data entry, invoice preparation, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients regarding their accounts
3. Follow up with customers monthly to collect outstanding payments and update customer accounts with interactions, payments, and personal information
4. Conduct daily bank reconciliations and complete month-end closing activities to ensure financial accuracy
5. Analyze financial figures, postings, and documents to maintain accuracy in accounting programs
6. Validate and record invoices, resolving discrepancies with vendors promptly
7. Manage full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
8. Perform month-end reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
9. Attend to and resolve discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
10. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
11. Prepare documentation and data for GST submission
12. 
    

Preferred competencies and qualifications

1. Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
2. LCCI in Accountancy, CAT qualification, or equivalent certification
3. Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
4. Organized, meticulous, and able to work independently
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
