Accounts Executive

Responsibilities

• Handle a partial set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and monthly closing processes.

• Prepare journal entries, maintain the fixed asset register, review/monitor prepayments, accruals and intercompany transactions.

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management reports for assigned entities, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules.

• Monitor and report of daily cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds are available.

• Ensure accurate and appropriate recording of revenue and expenses.

• Manage year-end audit processes and tax computations.

• Prepare quarterly GST returns.

• Assist in ad-hoc projects and new assignments when assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent.

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred. 

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central is an advantage.

• Proficient in MS Office Skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Meticulous, committed and possesses good communications skills.

• Able to work independently, multitask and meet deadlines.

• Able to start immediately or within short notice is an advantage.

• Willing to travel for occasional business trips.
