Accounts Executive (Full Set Tiong Bahru Construction) DT

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and schedules
• Manage invoicing, payment processing, receipts, and credit control
• Perform GST submissions and ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards and regulations
• Handle project costing, progress claims, retention sums, and subcontractor payments
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant government authorities
• Monitor cash flow and maintain proper accounting records and documentation
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing (if applicable)
• Support ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Experience handling full set accounts independently as a sole contributor
• Familiar with construction accounting processes such as project costing and progress claims
• Knowledge of GST and local accounting standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
