ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE / SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

General Accounting

-       Handle full sets of accounts (AR, AP, GL, and Bank Reconciliation).

-       Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with company policies.

-       Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate, up-to-date Balance Sheet schedules.

-       Perform comprehensive monthly reconciliations across keyledgers including Bank, Accounts

Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP).

-       Lead year-end activities by supporting statutory financial audits and preparing tax schedules for

submission to external tax agents.

Accounts Payable (AP)

-       Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders and delivery orders for accuracy.

-       Process payments to suppliers, subcontractors and vendors according to payment terms.

-       Monitor retention sums and progress payments related to construction contracts.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

-       Prepare customer invoices and follow up on payments.

-       Prepare site staff billing and other reimbursement.

-       Monitor aging reports and ensure timely collection.

-       Handle progress claims and coordinate with project teams for billing accuracy.

Audit, Taxation& Compliance

-       Assist in annual audit, tax submissions / GST refund and government reporting (GST, IRAS, etc.).

-       Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company internal controls.

Process Improvement & Ad-Hoc Duties

-      Actively support the company’s Finance Transformation and Digitalization Plan (e.g. system

upgrades, process automation).

-      Fulfil ad-hoc financial analysis and management requirements as assigned.

-      Annual BOA renewal for the Architects.

-      Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

-      Support ad-hoc duties assigned by management or finance department.

-      To cover the Receptionist as may be required due to absence from position.

Requirements

-       Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.

-       Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in Built Environment.

-       Knowledge of progress billing, retention and project costing is an advantage.

-       Proficient in accounting software and microsoft office.

-       Good understanding of Singapore accounting and tax regulations.

-       Meticulous, organized and able to work independently undertight deadlines.
