Accounts Executive(XERO Accounting)

Job Description & Requirements

• We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive professional, familiar with XERO accounting software to join our accounting department. You should be a skilled and thorough researcher with excellent communicationrecord-keeping skills. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with strong math and computer skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse and reporting of monthly reports (actual vs budget) and highlight any area of improvement.
• Preparation of monthly management reports and other financial reports required by management
• Handle full set of accounts, GST preparation and submission.
• Preparing invoices, delivery orders and purchase orders
• Responsible for the processing of staff claims, vendor payments and payroll
• Assist in month-end closing and preparation of SOA to customers
• Monitor closely AR aging report and outstanding customers’ account via regular phone calls, email reminder, frequent communications with sales personnel and project managers
• Proactively follow up on customers’ queries, resolves any outstanding AR issues and invoices
• Liaise with auditors on the annual audit of financial statements
• Any adhoc projects as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree / Diploma in Accountancy / Finance or ACCA and equivalent with at least 3 years’ working experience
• Familiar with Xero Accounting Software
• Must have good working knowledge of MS Office - Excel, Powerpoint, Words and Outlook
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently, well organized, meticulous, positive attitude and a team player
