Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and MAS.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare statutory reporting requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and daily financial transactions.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Review and monitor operational expenses and recommend cost-control measures.
• Support management with financial reports and business performance analysis.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff where applicable.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of accounting systems and processes.
• Support regulatory audits and inspections as required. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA Singapore, CA Singapore, CIMA, or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Experience in the money-changing, foreign exchange, financial services, banking, or regulated industries will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience handling audits, tax matters, and financial reporting.
