Accounts Receivable (AR) Executive @ Lavendar 2 Years Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions for external customers, tenants, stakeholders, co-locators, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and issue invoices, debit notes, and late payment interest charges.
• Perform collection runs and monitor outstanding receivables.
• Reconcile carpark revenue reports and bank transactions.
• Process and account for donations, sponsorships, and in-kind contributions.
• Prepare journal entries, accounting adjustments, and other financial transactions.
• Maintain billing master data and prepare Excel upload templates for billing.
• Verify the accuracy of billing uploads against tenancy master records.
• Compute and process late payment interest based on AR reports.
• Follow up on customer and tenant arrears in collaboration with internal departments.
• Assist customers with Direct Debit arrangement setup and billing enquiries.
• Prepare schedules and support monthly and year-end financial closing activities.
• Assist in statutory and internal audits by preparing supporting documents and reports.
• Generate and analyse AR reports, including:Statements of AccountsAgeing ReportsTransaction Activity ReportsData Analytics ReportsVariance Reports
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Handle approximately 7,600 AR transactions annually, including managing around 144 Excel billing uploads each year.

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance, or Accounting functions. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes, billing, collections, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, data validation, lookup functions, and data reconciliation).
• Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
