Admin cum Account Assistant

Company Overview

The client specializes in supplying, fabricating, and installing metal engineering works for buildings, industrial, and marine services, including air-conditioning and ventilation ducting, steel platforms and structures, exhaust stacks, noise enclosures, piping, storage tanks, and filter houses.

Job Summary

You will perform general administrative duties, manage communications, maintain vendor records, support office operations, and assist the accounting team with bookkeeping and financial document processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform filing, data entry, and document management to maintain organized records
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence to ensure timely communication
• Maintain and update vendor lists and profiles for accurate supplier information
• Organize office operations and procedures to support efficient workflow
• Assist the accounting team by recording financial transactions and bookkeeping tasks
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and expense documents accurately
• Complete ad-hoc duties as assigned to support team needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Apply basic accounting principles and bookkeeping to support financial tasks
• Use Microsoft Excel and Word proficiently to complete administrative and accounting duties
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with team members and external contacts
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks reliably

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in accounting and finance
• Singaporean or PR are encouraged– to apply
