AML Compliance Manager – Corporate Bank

A regional corporate bank is seeking an experienced AML professional to join its Compliance team in Singapore. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to provide AML advisory and ensure compliance with MAS regulations and the bank's internal policies.

Job Description

• Provide Customer Due Diligence (CDD) advisory to business stakeholders.
• Conduct Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) filing and AML investigations.
• Prepare and support MAS regulatory filings.
• Ensure an effective framework for the identification, review and clearance of transaction monitoring alerts.
• Deliver AML and sanctions-related training to business units and new joiners.
• Perform AML Quality Assurance reviews to assess the effectiveness of implemented controls.
• Coordinate and participate in ad hoc projects, enterprise risk assessments, audits and regulatory inspections.
• Perform other AML and compliance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of AML Compliance experience within Corporate Banking and/or Private Banking/Wealth Management.
• Strong knowledge of MAS AML/CFT regulations and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
