Analyst, Margin Lending - 6 month contract

About the Role

As an Analyst, Margin Lending team, you will be responsible for validating and issuing margin calls in a timely manner, collaborating closely with business partners to ensure resolution. You will also contribute to daily regulatory reporting, handle client inquiries, and participate in projects aimed at enhancing processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate and issue margin calls for PWM clientele.
• Validate and ensure all margin calls are issued promptly.
• Respond to incoming queries, liaising with Risk, Credit, and Technology teams.
• Proactively enhance team processes, controls, and efficiency.
• Resolve and escalate client disputes and queries.
• Participate in projects and initiatives across regions, including system enhancements and process improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree with internship experience in finance, financial institutions
• Credit experience
• Financial products knowledge
• Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.
• Solid understanding of products, risks, controls, and escalation processes within Operations.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, with comfort handling large datasets and strong numerical aptitude.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, and career‑focused, with a drive to succeed individually and as part of a team.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and openness to new challenges.
• Proficiency in Excel is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client service orientation.
