Application Specialist (IIT)

Responsibilities

• Look after the full Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials system, covering GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, Intercompany and Expenses.
• Run and improve the Oracle EPM tools (FCCS, EPBCS/PBCS, EDMCS), including their business rules, data, forms, dashboards and reports.
• Keep the OIC connectors working between Oracle Fusion and other internal and external systems, including REST/SOAP services, FBDI bulk loads, file-based links, event-driven flows and error handling.
• Handle problems when they come up, find out what caused them and put proper fixes in place so the system stays stable with little disruption to the business.
• Guide Oracle's quarterly updates by checking what could be affected, testing for issues, taking on new features and releasing changes to production.
• Set up and maintain FBDI/ADFdi loads, BI Publisher and OTBI reports, BPM approval workflows, security roles and ESS scheduled jobs.
• Work with Oracle Support on logged tickets, escalations, patch checks and product roadmap discussions.
• Turn the finance team's needs into a properly set-up system across sub-ledger to GL, multi-currency and multi-ledger structures.
• Carry out the steps that combine and reconcile financial figures so the books close correctly and on time.
• Look for ways to keep the Oracle Fusion setup running better and more reliably over time.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (setup and ongoing support).
• Strong hands-on skills with Oracle EPM Cloud (at least 2 of FCCS, EPBCS, EDMCS), including rule design, calculation scripts and Data Management / Data Integration; solid expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) building REST/SOAP integrations, orchestrations, FBDI integrations, lookups, error handling and monitoring; and good command of BI Publisher, OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio, Smart View and EPM Automate.
• Good understanding of how accounting works, including accounting flows, sub-ledger to GL, multi-currency, multi-ledger, consolidations and reconciliation.
• Sound knowledge of ITIL practices and modern delivery tools, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to work well with people across the business.
