Application Specialist (Oracle Fusion Financials)

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules to support business operations and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the end-to-end functionality of the finance applications ecosystem, ensuring system reliability and data integrity.
• Coordinate Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations, including REST/SOAP web services, FBDI bulk data loads, and file-based interfaces.
• Diagnose and resolve technical and functional issues to keep enterprise systems running smoothly.
• Apply ITIL-aligned practices for incident, problem, and change management in accordance with agreed service levels.
• Partner with finance, IT, and other business teams to identify opportunities for process and workflow enhancements.
• Safeguard system security by managing role-based access controls and supporting audit readiness.
• Produce and maintain clear documentation covering system configurations, processes, and support cases.
• Guide and train end-users to encourage effective adoption of enterprise applications.
• Track integration performance and address errors within event-driven and automated data flows.

Requirements

• A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting enterprise financial applications or analytics platforms.
• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and OIC integration tools.
• Sound understanding of ITIL service management principles and structured troubleshooting practices.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
