Assistant Finance Manager (Financial Reporting)

Join our team in a dynamic outsourced project role. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and analytical finance professional to support financial reporting functions. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to financial reporting, asset management, compliance matters, financial analysis, and audit coordination while working closely with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end closing activities, including property tax, depreciation and investment-related accounting entries.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records in compliance with relevant accounting standards and organization’s policies.
• Administer asset matters, including asset registration, minor assets tracking, stocktake exercises, disposal schedules, and capital expenditure reporting.
• Prepare and submit regular financial reports, including GST returns, variance analysis reports, and Department of Statistics submissions.
• Assist in financial analysis and prepare management reports / presentation materials for decision-making purposes.
• Support the review and implementation of accounting policies, system changes, and Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) applications.
• Liaise with external auditors on annual financial audit for relevant scope. 

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems is an advantage.
• Positive work attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Working Time:

Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 6.00pm

Contact Period: 24 months

Working Place: Jurong East
