Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced finance professional to manage regulatory reporting, statutory accounts, and compliance within a financial institution.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly and periodic financial reports for Head Office
• Prepare statutory accounts, corporate tax schedules, management accounts, and MAS regulatory reports (e.g. MAS 649, MAS 610)
• Prepare and review daily regulatory compliance reports
• Liaise with external consultants on annual transfer pricing documentation
• Review quarterly GST returns
• Support daily accounting operations, including journal entries and system-related processes
• Monitor updates to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, relevant laws, and MAS regulations; report updates to the Head of Department
• Update procedures and implement process improvements in line with regulatory and reporting changes
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience handling MAS regulations and reporting within a bank or financial institution
• Strong knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting, statutory accounts, corporate tax schedules, and management accounts
• Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking stakeholders at overseas Head Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
