Assistant Relationship Manager (Japanese Market)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and client servicing support to Relationship Managers (RMs) handling Private Banking clients, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Respond promptly to client enquiries, process instructions accurately, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve client requests.
• Monitor client account activities, maintain accurate client records, and prepare reports related to account information and credit facilities.
• Support RMs in delivering wealth management and financial advisory services by preparing documentation, presentations, and client meeting materials.
• Coordinate with Product, Operations, Compliance, and other internal teams while ensuring all activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree with 3–5 years of experience in client servicing, sales support, or operations within Private Banking, Wealth Management, or the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of financial products, banking operations, and client servicing processes; CACS certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Highly organized, meticulous, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) is required to effectively support and communicate with Japanese-speaking clients.
