Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with China head office global execution teams, sales and research teams, and collaborate across the group to enhance product penetration and revenue from existing and prospective clients.
• Provide coverage for cross-border OTC derivatives and structured products, with a focus on commodity and fixed-income asset classes.
• Execute client trades accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring full compliance withmarket regulations and internal policies.
• Monitor clients’ trading activities, manage credit exposure and margin requirements and conduct periodic portfolio reviews to ensure effective risk management.
• Serve as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, addressing client inquiries, resolving operational issues, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Assist in the development of new trading products and client solutions, while building and maintaining strong client relationships and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in derivatives sales, trading or institutional client coverage, preferably within FICC or structured-product businesses.
• Familiar with Bond Connect / Swap Connect / OTC derivatives / structured products frameworks and cross-border trading operations.
• Holder of CMFAS RES 2A license.
• Strong sales and marketing skills in developing and implementing successful strategies. Ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring timely resolution of client queries and issues.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Good usage knowledge of market data vendors like Bloomberg. Good understanding of the front to back process flow.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, due to frequent interaction with China head office and Chinese-speaking clients.
