Associate, Institutional Services

Our client, a global and listed fintech organisation, is expanding its APAC Institutional Services team and is seeking motivated professionals to support institutional and enterprise clients across the region.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality client support and building strong professional relationships with a diverse institutional client base, including financial institutions, investment firms, advisory businesses, and intermediary partners. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering a smooth and efficient client experience while supporting the growth of the organisation’s regional products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to client enquiries relating to technical, account, and trade matters through telephone, ticketing systems, and live chat channels
• Take ownership of client issues and coordinate with relevant internal teams and stakeholders across departments and regions to facilitate timely resolution
• Support clients in navigating various stages of the trading and account lifecycle, including funding processes, position transfers, corporate actions, margin-related enquiries, and statement reconciliation
• Participate in assigned projects and business initiatives, such as client engagement activities, platform support and training, and market or industry research
• Maintain accurate communication and service records while ensuring a high standard of client experience and operational support

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification
• Knowledge or familiarity with one or more financial asset classes, such as equities, ETFs, options, foreign exchange, funds, futures, or fixed income products
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and work with complex systems and processes
• Ability to manage priorities and communicate effectively in a dynamic working environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant experience within financial services or institutional client servicing is advantageous; candidates with transferable skills and demonstrated aptitude will also be considered
• CMFAS 1A, 2A, CM-EIP and CM-SIP licences are preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain the relevant licences within a reasonable timeframe after joining
• Familiarity with productivity and collaboration tools such as Excel, JIRA, and Confluence would be an advantage
