Associate/Senior Associate - Group Strategy & Investments (Real Estate)

We are recruiting for a fully integrated real asset fund management and development platform. With a total AUM of about USD80b, they operate in the logistics, data centres and infrastructure space.

Reporting to the Head of Investments, you will be independently evaluating real estate investment opportunities, conduct in-depth financial modelling, and prepare high-quality investment papers as well as ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision making.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

1. Investment Evaluation - Independently assess potential real estate investment opportunities across various asset classes and geographies, including both equity and debt structures
2. Financial Modelling - Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to analyze deal-level economics, sensitivity scenarios, and return metrics (e.g., IRR, equity multiple)
3. Investment Papers - Draft clear and compelling investment memos and presentations for internal investment committees and senior leadership, outlining the strategic rationale, risks, and recommendations.
4. Market Research & Analysis - Conduct macro and micro-level market research, competitive benchmarking, and due diligence to inform underwriting assumptions and investment strategy
5. Due Diligence Coordination - Liaise with brokers, partners, legal counsel, and other external advisors to facilitate deal execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from top-tier university with an outstanding university academic record
• About 4-6 years in a current professional capacity in real estate investment, real estate funds management, real estate private equity, or similar role
• You possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly proficient in financial modelling with knowledge of valuation and corporate finance
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect the dots and engage in strategic thinking
