Job Description - Audit Associate

Job description

The audit associate will be involved in audit team and related assignments under the supervision of audit managers and partners, to ensure that these assignments are executed properly. The audit associate will be involved in the preparation and compilation of accounts for ACRA filing purpose. The audit associate is expected to work effectively in a team environment by sharing responsibilities, providing support and communicating with colleagues in a professional manner.

Job responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment
  • Identify and raise potential risk issues with the manager / partner, while exercising judgement within agreed parameters.
  • Assist in the preparation of the income tax computations / returns and estimated tax provisions
  • Compilation of accounts for ACRA filing purposes
  • Maintain a full set of accounts using accounting software
  • Assist in other ad hoc tasks assigned by the partner or manager.

Job requirements

  • A degree in accounting or related field
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong team working skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess initiative and able to work independently
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
