The key role of the Audit Senior is to assist the Public Accountant to perform statutory audit for Companies, Societies and Charitable Organisations. The Audit Senior is expected to be able to plan and complete the assignments on his own with minimal supervision most of the time. In bigger assignments, the auditor may be expected to lead a small team and guide the junior associates.
Besides statutory audit, the Senior Auditor might be assigned other functions such as Internal Audit, Accounting, Forensic, Business Valuation and Tax work.
The firm placed great emphasis on developing the professionalism of its staff. As such, the auditor are given an annual budget to go for professional courses. Study and Examination Leave are given for courses that is related to the firm's core competency that could lead to a professional degree or certification.
The firm values the effort and time put in by the staff to complete the audit assignments. To reward the staff for completing the audit assignments promptly, all staff are entitled to the performance bonus scheme on top of their basic salary. The scheme will ensure the staff's reward would commensurate with their effort. The more assignments completed, the more bonus will accrue to the staff.
