BANK NETWORK ENGINEER

Job Summary

Provide technical support and maintain IT systems and network infrastructure to ensure continuous, secure, and efficient operations within a financial or commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for daily IT operations, network maintenance, and infrastructure management to ensure system reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT system, network performance, and infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Manage and configure user accounts, permissions, and access rights to uphold system security and compliance
• Monitor network operations using foundational networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPN) to maintain optimal performance
• Perform rotation shift duties to provide 24/7 monitoring and smooth operation of IT systems and networks
• Contribute professional insights during IT audits and address identified gaps to strengthen IT controls
• Develop and implement ad hoc IT solutions and recommendations as directed by the Department Head

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Previous experience working with banks or financial institutions
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders in China
