Bank Operations Officer (Loans)

Green Link Digital Bank is Singapore's inaugural wholesale digital bank focusing on supply chain finance, mainly serving MSMEs and aiming to help MSMEs grow and improve digitization.

We are looking for Senior Operations Officer to grow our business.

Responsibilities

•        Ensure seamless processing of transactions for Loan products, Trade Financing products and Supply Chain Financing products.

•        Processing and managing of the payment process for loan referral fees.

•        Perform first level AML check for transactions, SWIFTs name screening and raise STR when required.

•        Coordinate and provide oversight of overall end-to-end Supply Chain Financing operations processes.

•        Responsible for examining trade financing documents in accordance with international standards and for the loan and collection of international trade financing business.

•        Responsible for the anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance review in the international settlement business.

•        Monitor/Control all transactions received and ensure smooth delivery and achieve performance and contribute to achieving business goal.

•        Ensure prompt resolution of queries and escalations from internal and external stakeholders.

•        Provide support for ad-hoc projects (Run and change) on behalf of the department in relation to Loan and Trade Financing products and to participate in UAT testing.

•        Ensure Loan and Trade Operations procedures and policies are being followed and deviation escalated to Management.

•        Ensure operational obligations are in compliant with Bank’s KYC policy, local and global regulatory requirements.

•        Provide cross functional support within the Operations department when required.

•        Work with relevant stakeholders on delivery of business performance and ensure daily adherence to service level and quality standards in end-to-end delivery of services.

•        Identify opportunities and initiate suggestions for improvements.

Requirements

•        Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance or equivalent.

•        Minimum 4 years of prior work experience in similar function in banking industry.

•        Prior experience working in a bank’s Loan Operations unit and/or in Supply Chain Financing implementation team and ability to manage programs from implementation to execution.

•        In-depth knowledge in Commercial Loan products (both bilateral and syndicated), Trade Financing products, UCP/ISP rules, URDG etc.

•        Strong awareness of KYC/AML regulations and full understanding of Risks and Control requirements.

•        Strong working compliance knowledge in Trade Financing Due Diligence/AML requirements.

•        Strong working knowledge of applicable Trade Financing products and best practices of Trade Financing processes.

•        Excellent communication skills with ability to multi-task while staying detailed oriented and having effective time management skill.

•        Ability to work independently while being an effective team player, with ability to manage work under pressure.

•        Candidates with Trade Finance experience will be considered favorably.

•        Technological orientation with proficiency in MS Excel VBA an added advantage.
