Blister Copper Trader

Monthly Salary: UP to $16,000 (Negotiable)

Working Address: Central Business District 

Our client is seeking an experienced Blister Copper Trader who is a pragmatic negotiator with deep expertise in Southeast Asian procurement markets and the ability to expand into India and Europe.

Given the highly specialised nature of the role, candidates with established supplier networks and existing relationships with smelters will be strongly preferred. 

Responsibilities & Duties:

Procurement:

• Source blister copper (semi-finished product) processed from recycled materials in Southeast Asia.

• Establish procurement channels for electronic scrap and by-product materials that cannot directly enter China.

• Negotiate with suppliers in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and other Southeast Asian countries.

Sales:

• Supply blister copper to integrated smelting and recycling enterprises in China.

• Develop new sales markets in India and Europe.

• Establish direct partnerships with smelters and recycling plants
  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience trading blister copper or recycled non-ferrous metals.

• Familiarity with Southeast Asian procurement markets, including Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

• Established supplier and buyer networks in China, India, or Europe will be an advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant discipline.

• Strong negotiation, market analysis, and risk management capabilities.

• Fluent in English and Mandarin; additional language skills are an advantage but not essential for cross-border communication.

• Willingness to undertake frequent travel across Southeast Asia, India, and Europe
