We are partnering with a cutting-edge AI Research company to expand their global market presence. As they continue to scale their innovations, they are seeking polished and commercially driven Business Development Executives / Associates to drive client acquisition, secure strategic partnerships, and engage with High Net Worth (HNW) investors to fund ongoing research initiatives.
Based in Singapore, this role is a client-facing. You will act as the brand ambassador for the company, interfacing directly with senior stakeholders, corporate executives, and international investors across Asia, the Middle East, and other priority markets.
Investor & Client Outreach: Identify, research, and qualify potential corporate clients, strategic partners, and HNW investors to build a robust funding and partnership pipeline.
Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct outreach, schedule high-level meetings, and manage end-to-end follow-ups with prospective partners and investors.
Event & Meeting Coordination: Scout venues, arrange, and host business meetings, VIP networking events, roadshows, and formal business dinners for senior stakeholders.
Pitching & Proposals: Prepare and present compelling business development materials, investment pitch decks, capability summaries, and meeting briefings.
Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate CRM records, track meeting outcomes, outline next steps, and provide regular pipeline reporting to the management team.
Global Collaboration: Travel domestically or internationally (as required) for client meetings and market development activities, representing the firm at a senior level.
Experience & Presence: Proven experience in Business Development, Investor Relations, Strategic Partnerships, or a similar corporate client-facing role. Must possess strong executive presence and the corporate decorum required to interface confidently with HNW individuals and corporate decision-makers.
Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written English is strictly required to draft proposals and pitch independently to senior executives.
Global Market Coverage: As the company operates offices in the UAE, Canada, Singapore, and Indonesia, proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Arabic is highly advantageous to effectively liaise with regional counterparts and negotiate with specific international investor pools.
Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to understand complex client needs, identify strategic funding opportunities, and confidently position AI research products and offerings.
Flexibility: Willingness to attend evening networking events, business dinners, and conferences, with the ability to travel when business requires.
Highly Competitive Base: $5,500 to $8,250 SGD (commensurate with experience, language capabilities, and market coverage).
Performance Incentives: Eligible for strong performance-based bonuses tied to qualified leads, strategic partnerships secured, and investment value closed.
Expenses: Fully covered or reimbursed for all approved business travel, client entertainment, and related expenses as per company policy.
Probation: 3-month standard probationary period (extendable up to 6 months based on performance milestones and client-facing readiness).
