BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The company is a subsidiary of South Korea’s top 10conglomerates, with financial services spanning insurance, asset management, and securities.

Having obtained its CMS license in 2020, the company is now expanding into the digital asset space as part of its regional growth strategy.

Role Overview

We are seeking a candidate with strong deal-sourcing capabilities and an extensive network within the digital asset ecosystem across Southeast Asia and South Korea. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and driving business growth in this emerging sector.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior management to define digital asset goals, timelines, and strategies. Identify target investors and create tailored marketing and communication plans.

• Oversee the issuance and distribution of digital assets. Implement security measures to safeguard token transactions and investor data.

• Engage with potential and existing investors, addressing inquiries and providing necessary information. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the digital asset ecosystem.

• Manage the post-digital asset process, including token trading on secondary markets and investor relations. Ensure ongoing compliance with securities regulations.

• Present the investment opportunities and efficiently communicate the information to agents, intermediaries at Seoul headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial services industry.

• Strong knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and security tokens

• Experience in asset management and/or private wealth management

• Exposure to planning and executing security token offerings or similar fundraising initiatives is an advantage

• Proven ability to drive long-term business initiatives and manage multiple stakeholders, particularly in South Korea

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Native or near-native proficiency in both English and Korean (spoken and written)

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Possession of relevant CMFAS certifications RES1A/RES1B, RES4, and CM-EIP/CM-SIP is an advantage
