Job Description - Business Development Manager - Financial Services (Hyper-Growth Stage)

Overview: A leading fintech company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand their client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and enterprise sales, with an entrepreneurial spirit suited for a dynamic startup environment.

Salary range is just a guide, can be higher if you are able to proof ROI in a short amount of time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that meet client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and market developments to remain competitive in the marketplace.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably in the financial or fintech sector.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, trends, and customer requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
