Cash Management Analyst

Trade support and execution

1. Monitor market activity and support trading strategies as required based on news events or other factors that could affect trading activity.

2. Execute trades based on decisions taken for the portfolio and ensure that they are filled at the best price and within risk parameters.

3. Communicate with trading counterparties to ensure that orders have been executed correctly.

4. Review market data and ensure essential trade details are captured accurately and on a timely basis.

5. Perform pre-deal checks against risk triggers/limits, seek appropriate approval of potential breaches, and escalate breaches accordingly.

6. Report daily portfolio cashflows, manage bank account balances to sufficiently fund all settlements, draw-downs/cash receipts, and optimize cash buffer yield.

7. Manage counterparty account opening and onboarding process.

Operations and Reporting

1. Calculate and report on portfolio performance, as well as portfolio reporting for senior management.

2. Perform daily reconciliation of captured positions against counterparty statements.

3. Perform price fixing and corporate action administration.

4. Investigate and resolve settlement breaks and follow up on outstanding settlement items, including fund transfers and collateral custody.

Fund marketing and invest

1. Work closely with investors/partners to market fund and grow AUM.

2. Preparation of marketing material for external investor distribution.

3. Liaise with fund admin to resolve day-to-day operational issues about portfolio reporting, NAV production, etc.

Requirements

· Degree in Finance/Accountancy, preferably qualifications like CFA/FRM, etc.

· Minimum 5 years of working experience in investment-related roles from the buy-side, with good product knowledge in money market/cash instruments.

· Highly disciplined, a self-starter, and possess the adaptability to learn new tasks and can-do attitude.

· Adaptable to fast-paced environments where plans might change and require to be executed quickly.

· Independent individual who can operate with minimum guidance, and resourceful/curious enough to self-learn and mitigate any knowledge gap.
