The Company

Our client is a newly established Singapore-based family office set up to manage a diversified global investment portfolio across public markets, private investments, and real assets. As part of its build-out in Singapore, the family office is seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant to support the establishment of finance infrastructure, accounting processes, management reporting, and investment reporting capabilities.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the Principal, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the family office's accounting and reporting framework. The role encompasses financial reporting and consolidation across multiple entities, investment accounting and portfolio reporting, treasury and cash flow management, foreign exchange monitoring, and the preparation of management accounts. You will maintain complete accounting records within Xero, support budgeting and forecasting activities, coordinate tax, audit and statutory compliance matters, and work closely with banks, investment managers, and external advisors. This position offers broad exposure across finance, investments, operations, and family office management within a newly established platform.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate has prior experience in audit, accounting, family office, investment management, or private investment environments, with strong technical accounting capabilities and experience preparing management accounts. You are comfortable managing multiple entities, investment portfolios, and reporting requirements while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with financial reporting, consolidations, treasury, and investment accounting is highly advantageous, alongside strong Excel skills and familiarity with Xero or similar accounting systems. The successful candidate will be proactive, hands-on, and capable of operating independently within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
