Job Description - Client Data Management - Private Banking

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading international financial institution, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Client Data Management (AVP Level) to support client onboarding and data maintenance activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate review and maintenance of client documentation, supporting KYC-related account changes, driving process improvements, and maintaining high standards of data quality, privacy and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review account opening documentation and application forms as part of the client onboarding process.
  • Perform KYC-related maintenance reviews, including updates to client structures, beneficial ownership, authorised signatories, addresses and contact information.
  • Ensure client records are updated accurately and in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate management reports and perform regular monitoring activities to support operational controls.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Deliver training and guidance to team members and internal stakeholders on document review processes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for department initiatives, projects and working groups.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and process changes.
  • Support ad hoc projects and operational initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 4–5 years of experience in Client Data Management, Client Onboarding, KYC, Account Opening or related banking operations.
  • Strong understanding of KYC, client documentation and account maintenance processes.
  • Experience reviewing corporate client documentation and maintaining client records.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data quality.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and handle complex operational issues.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
