Commercial Finance Analyst (FP&A) / Oracle Hyperion /M3 / Central West

Our client is a global food manufacturing MNC in the agrifood industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central West area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure integrity and consistency of financial data across reporting systems, including adherence to internal control and reporting standards.
• Manage and maintain financial master data, and support ERP system updates and reporting enhancements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reporting schedules, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Support the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports across multiple regions, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
• Perform detailed analysis of key financial indicators, including sales performance, pricing, margins, costs, P&L, balance sheet, inventory, and receivables.
• Provide costing support, including standard cost review and operational finance analysis where required.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles, including coordination of templates, consolidation of inputs, and preparation of variance analysis.
• Maintain and update long-term financial planning models and ensure data accuracy within enterprise planning platforms.
• Develop and improve management dashboards and reports using BI tools to enhance visibility of business performance.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional reporting activities.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties when required.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Accountancy/Finance/Business relevant studies or equivalent.
• Min 5 years of relevant experience in finance, reporting, and business analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting; IFRS knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools (e.g. Hyperion or similar) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Sales Dashboard, Tableau,etc) or other data visualisation or reporting tools.
• Exposure to costing analysis or product/operational costing is an advantage
