At ZEN.COM, we're not trying to become another payments company.
We're building a business that connects Asia and Europe through a combination of business banking, acquiring, issuing, FX and cross border payment capabilities. Singapore is central to that ambition and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of the team that writes the next chapter of ZEN.COM in Asia.
This isn't a role for someone looking to manage an existing portfolio or wait for marketing to generate leads. It's also not a role where success is measured by how many large logos appear in your pipeline. We care about building a business, and that means creating momentum. Some days that will involve winning a strategic partnership that changes our trajectory. Other days it will mean closing a merchant that starts processing next week, generates revenue immediately and becomes a reference that helps unlock ten more opportunities. We value both equally.
Your responsibility is straightforward. Find opportunities, create opportunities and convert them into long term commercial relationships.
You'll spend your time engaging merchants, software companies, platforms, marketplaces, fintechs and other businesses that can benefit from what we offer. Every conversation will be different. Some customers may only need acquiring. Others may need business banking, FX, issuing or cross border payment capabilities. Often the best solution brings several of these together. Your role is to understand the customer's business first and then determine where we can genuinely create value.
Building a new market isn't always straightforward. You'll work with colleagues across multiple countries and time zones. Product capabilities will continue to evolve. Internal processes won't always be perfect. There will be occasions where you'll need to navigate ambiguity, bring people together and keep opportunities moving forward. We see that as part of building a business, not a reason to slow down.
We're looking for someone who is naturally curious and commercially minded. Someone who enjoys meeting people, asks thoughtful questions and listens before proposing solutions. Someone who is comfortable speaking with the owner of a growing business in the morning and the CFO of a regional company in the afternoon. Someone who communicates with clarity, earns trust quickly and has a high Say-Do ratio
Resourcefulness is essential. Resilience matters just as much. The right person has extremely high sense of agency.
Experience within payments, fintech, banking, software or digital commerce will certainly help, and an existing network across Singapore's business community would be an advantage. More important than your background, however, is your ability to build trust, create opportunities and consistently deliver commercial outcomes.
This is an opportunity to help shape the future of ZEN.COM in Singapore and, over time, across Southeast Asia and potentially Asia-Pacific. The work you do here won't be confined to one market. It will influence how we grow across the region and how we connect businesses between Asia and Europe.
