ICHAM Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based Capital Markets Services (“CMS”) licence holder regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) for fund management activities and an Exempt Financial Adviser. Our business focuses on external asset management, fund management and investment advisory services for accredited and institutional investors.

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and proactive Compliance & Risk Associate to support the Compliance, Risk, Legal and Governance functions within a MAS-regulated environment. This role offers broad exposure to regulatory compliance, fund management operations, legal documentation, governance and operational risk management within the asset and wealth management industry.

Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and relevant internship experience are welcome to apply. Candidates with 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, risk, audit, governance or financial services will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Compliance & Regulatory Support

• Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance with MAS regulations, internal policies, and regulatory obligations applicable to a licensed fund management company and exempt financial adviser.

• Maintain compliance registers and staff declarations, including conflicts of interest, personal account dealing, gifts & entertainment, outside business interests, fit and proper declarations, and related compliance records.
Support compliance monitoring programmes, regulatory reporting, internal controls reviews and audit or regulatory review preparations.\

• Monitor compliance deadlines and follow up on outstanding action items.

AML / KYC / Risk Management

• Assist in onboarding and ongoing due diligence reviews for investors, counterparties, intermediaries, and service providers.

• Support AML/CFT reviews and maintenance of Know-Your-Customer, Know-Your-Business, and Know-Your-Employee documentation.

• Support operational, compliance, and regulatory risk monitoring and remediation tracking.

Legal & Governance Support

• Maintain legal registers, agreement trackers and governance-related documentation.

• Coordinate the circulation, execution, filing and recordkeeping of legal agreements, corporate records, and compliance documentation.

• Support policy updates, document reviews and governance-related administrative matters.

Operational & Fund Support

• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, legal counsel, and other service providers where required.

• Support compliance and operational matters relating to fund structures, external asset management activities, and investment advisory functions.

• Assist in maintaining outsourcing and vendor oversight documentation.

General Responsibilities

• Support internal coordination across departments to ensure timely completion of compliance and legal matters.

• Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality and recordkeeping.

• Assist with ad hoc compliance, legal, governance and operational projects as assigned.

• The role will initially focus primarily on internal coordination and stakeholder management, with gradual exposure to external counterparties and external stakeholder engagement over time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Accountancy, Business, Economics, Risk Management or related disciplines.

• Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk, legal, audit, governance or financial services.

• Fresh graduates with strong academic achievements, relevant internship experience, and a demonstrated interest in compliance and financial regulation are encouraged to apply.

• Basic understanding and interest in the asset management, private wealth management or fund management industry would be advantageous.

• Positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical, organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills with attention to detail.

• Meticulous, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks independently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin would be advantageous.
