Corporate Action/Asset Servicing Analyst - 1 year contract

Our client is seeking an Analyst to join their team. Managing Voluntary Income and Corporate Actions events globally for equity and fixed income products. Responsibilities includes event creation, reconciliation, instruction, entitlement distribution, and dedicated client service.

Your Role

As a Corporate Action & Asset Servicing Analyst, you will ensure the accurate processing and distribution of entitlements across APAC markets. You will work in a fast-paced, high-risk environment, collaborating closely with internal trading desks and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Distributions: Distribute entitlements for Voluntary and Mandatory APAC Equity and Fixed Income events.
• Create Events: Set up Asset Servicing events within our proprietary internal systems.
• Support Stakeholders: Assist internal trading desks, prime brokerage clients, stock loan counterparties, and external brokers.
• Reconcile Balances: Perform daily reconciliations of cash and stock balances.
• Liaise with Partners: Interpret information and communicate with custodian banks and self-clear markets using SWIFT standards.
• Deliver Results: Produce accurate work under tight deadlines in a time-pressured environment.

What We Are Looking For

• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of a broker-dealer environment and associated market risks.
• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience. Proven experience handling Asset Servicing within APAC markets preferred
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with SWIFT standards and custodian bank communications.
• Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills, a logical mindset, and a proactive approach to project work.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-player attitude.
• Drive: Ability to handle high-risk situations, meet challenging targets, and implement process improvements using your own initiative.
