Job Summary

Join our team as a Corporate Banking professional focusing on China SOEs and large corporates in Singapore and ASEAN. Drive deal origination, structuring, and execution while developing leadership skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Originate, structure, and execute corporate lending transactions including bilateral, club, and syndicated loans across APAC to support client financing needs
  • Manage and expand relationships with China SOEs and large corporate clients to enhance business growth
  • Deliver comprehensive corporate banking solutions such as trade finance, revolving credit facilities (RCF), term loan facilities (TLF), syndicated loans, and risk participation to meet client requirements
  • Prepare detailed credit proposals by performing financial analysis, risk assessment, and industry evaluation to support informed lending decisions
  • Monitor portfolio performance continuously to maintain asset quality and mitigate risks
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities to deepen client engagement and increase revenue streams
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Treasury to ensure smooth deal execution
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance and operational integrity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience working with China SOEs and large corporate segments to understand client-specific needs and market dynamics
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline to provide foundational knowledge
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and reading) to facilitate communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a commercial mindset to evaluate opportunities and risks
  • Proven stakeholder management skills to build and maintain effective professional relationships
  • Proactive team player with demonstrated potential for leadership development
